Evolving technology in Education.
Ebooks are evolving and more and more people are begining to use them. At the speed they are evoling text books will soon be on them, making backpacks much much lighter for students. There are also small cheap portable netbooks, that will soon be in the classrooms to lessen the gap between students who have a laptop and those who do not. "Ineractive white boards" engage students to get out of their seats and up and learning. Ipods are also a big part in the education system today. Often they are used for math activities, and spelling tests.
In education technology is an increasing changing and influecing what and how teachers are teaching their students. Someday i would like to use an ebook, but i don't know if i would actually enjoy them, i would prefer to stick to reading from actual books, because than i can actually feel the progress i am making, or not making. On the other hand though text books on ebooks would be a very benefical investment, because it would make my load so much easier. As for the small cheap portable netbooks, i did not quite understand where they were going with those. It would be nice to have lap top for students expecially those who can't afford their own, but i didn't understand if the article was talking about older students, or younger students. Interactive white boards, are very helpful. This white board makes it possible to get the students up from their chair and play the role of the teacher as they are learning at the same time. Next is the ipods, i don't know so much if i agree with having ipods in the classrooms for all of the students. But at the same time i think it is a really neat idea to use the ipod as a learning tool.

Multi tasking may be creating people who can not actually think when it comes down to it. Multi tasking is making for very distracted people. And test show that we are using alot of a decison making part of our brain while surfing the internet. But while reading a book we are not using nearly as much of our brain.
